Ahuva Magder-Hershkop

Biography

Ahuva Magder is a registered dietitian at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Magder specializes in addressing the dietetic needs of patients to optimize their health and well-being.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ms. Magder credits an early childhood meeting with a dietitian for inspiring her to pursue a career in the field. Ms. Magder earned her Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from Ryerson University before completing her Masters of Applied Nutrition from the University of Guelph. She gained years of practical experience during her dietetic internship at several major hospitals and private clinics, including Cleveland Clinic Canada. A dedicated student, Ms. Magder was a member of the prestigious Dean’s List while attending Ryerson University.

Ms. Magder is passionate about the power of education and devotes her time to promoting the accessibility of healthy food. She is an active member of the nutritional community, leading cooking classes and lending her expertise to classrooms and workshops. She is a member of both the College of Dietitians of Ontario and Dietitians of Canada.

When she is not seeing patients, Ms. Magder like to run, dance and read. She enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking and trying out new recipes.
