Biography

Anna Tran is a Nurse Practitioner at Cleveland Clinic Canada. She has extensive experience caring for patients in the acute care hospital setting, community health outpost, and virtual environments.

Ms. Tran first obtained her Bachelor of Nursing at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She continued her love of nursing by earning an Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Ontario and a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) from Athabasca, Alberta. Her career began at Humber River Hospital in Toronto, where she worked in the intensive care, emergency, post-operative, and endoscopy units. Ms. Tran has worked with critically ill patients, caring for them at all stages of their treatment and recovery.

For the next step in Ms. Trans career, she embarked on travel nursing that took her to several contracts in rural British Columbia, remote First Nations communities in Northern Ontario, and Inuit communities in Nunavut. Passionate about providing comprehensive health care, she provided physical, psychosocial, and mental health assessments and supported the public health system with disease prevention strategies. Ms. Tran has been working in virtual care for several years conducting assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients of all ages and stages of life. She enjoys collaborating with other health care providers to offer the best care for her patients.

Ms. Tran is fluent in English and Vietnamese and enjoys snowboarding and golfing when she is not treating patients.
