Biography
Danielle Sarra is a Registered Nurse at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Sarra has experience in a variety of clinical areas, including orthopaedics, pediatrics and geriatrics. She has a particular interest in women’s health, maternal health, and equitable healthcare.
Ms. Sarra first obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies, with a double minor in African studies and Political Science from McGill University. She completed a Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing at George Brown University, before going on to complete her RPN to BScN at George Brown. She then completed the BScN Graduate Program through Trent Fleming School of Nursing.
An active member of her community, Ms. Sarra has acted as a volunteer at Sunnybrook Retirement Home, the British Columbia Faculty of Law and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law. Her development work overseas in Thailand as well as her volunteer work in retirement communities has resulted in a passion for equitable access to health care. Ms. Sarra is dedicated to preventive health and enjoys working in a team-based environment where clinicians work together seamlessly to improve patient health. She truly enjoys connecting with her patients and creating a space where they can feel comfortable to get the care they need.
When she’s not treating patients, Ms. Sarra enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, yoga, reading, creating art and outdoor adventuring with her kids and dog. She is fluent in both French and English.
