Biography
Talia Gershon is a Registered Nurse at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Gershon has experience in acute and outpatient care, with a strong focus on delivering patient-centred care in fast-paced clinical environments. She is skilled in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical procedures, and is known for her excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients and families on complex health information in a clear and compassionate manner.
Ms. Gershon holds a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics from The University of Western Ontario in London. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toronto. Ms. Gershon began her nursing career in ambulatory clinics at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, where she provided direct patient care, supported treatment plans, and delivered education on chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and symptom management. She then gained experience in urgent care at Weeneebayko Area Health Authority’s Fort Albany Hospital, an indigenous-governed health authority, where she delivered culturally competent care, triaged patients using the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale, and provided emergency interventions in a remote setting.
Ms. Gershon also currently works in Medical Radiation Oncology at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, where she provides care in a fast-paced acute environment. In her role, she performs patient assessments, administers treatments, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and supports patients and families through complex care needs with clear communication and a compassionate approach.
When she’s not working, Ms. Gershon enjoys spending time with her wife and dog, renovating her old 1950s cabin, and doing boot camp fitness classes.
