Biography

Gurvir Grewal is a Nurse Practitioner at Cleveland Clinic Canada. She is passionate about health promotion, client-centered care, and improving access to health care. She provides care for her patients with a special interest in navigating mental health and mood disorders, obesity management, and chronic pain management.

Ms. Grewal obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. She continued her education with an emergency nursing specialty with distinction and advanced cardiac training at the British Columbia Institute of Technology before earning her Master of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Family degree from the University of British Columbia.

In her nursing career, Ms. Grewal served as an emergency and medical-surgical registered nurse at Peace Arch Hospital and Surrey Memorial Hospital, where she delivered care in the high acuity emergency departments. She later completed her urgent and primary care residency training with Fraser Health Authority, along with practicum placements at multiple clinics providing care for marginalized communities.

Fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, Ms. Grewal is committed to holistic, evidence-based care, and fostering health equity through inclusive and collaborative practice.

When she is not treating patients, Ms. Grewal enjoys going on hikes, travelling, and spending time with her family.
