Rebecca Sytnyk is a Nurse Practitioner at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Sytnyk has experience providing care for patients of all ages in areas such as primary care, chronic pain, respirology and asthma, haematology/oncology, and pediatric transplantation. She has a strong interest in family medicine, women’s health and pediatrics.

Growing up with a mother who was a nurse exposed Ms. Sytnyk to the field and sparked a lifelong love of helping others. She obtained her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Toronto before going on to complete her Master of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Toronto.

Ms. Sytnyk is an active member of the medical community including the Patient Safety Committee at the Urban Family Health Team. She teaches medical students, family medicine residents and nurse practitioner students both in the clinic and in formal teaching sessions.

When she’s not seeing patients, Ms. Sytnyk enjoys visiting with friends and family, staying active outdoors with running, hiking, camping or kayaking, or just relaxing in front of the fire with a good book. She also loves to watch her kids play sports and cheer them on from the bench.
