Biography

Elyse Levy is a Registered Dietitian at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Levy has experience providing individualized nutrition counseling for cardiometabolic conditions, diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, gastrointestinal concerns, weight management, and cancer-related nutrition needs. She has a strong interest in chronic disease management, preventive nutrition, and helping patients develop sustainable lifestyle habits through evidence-based, compassionate care.

Ms. Levy obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food, with a minor in Psychology, from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). She also completed her Master of Health Science in Nutrition Communication at TMU. Her practical training includes comprehensive dietetic internships across acute care, long-term care, family health teams, oncology, neurology, and cardiac units, where she gained hands-on experience in therapeutic diets, malnutrition assessment, enteral and parenteral nutrition, and patient education.

After completing her graduate studies, Ms. Levy expanded her clinical experience across hospital and outpatient settings, working with diverse patient populations to support metabolic health, chronic disease management, and overall well-being. She is passionate about improving accessibility to nutrition education and empowering patients to make informed, realistic changes. Drawing on her combined background in nutrition and psychology, Ms. Levy emphasizes patient-centred communication, motivational counseling, and creating supportive environments that help individuals feel understood and confident in their health journey.

When she’s not seeing patients, Ms. Levy enjoys going to the gym, yoga, reading, trying new food, and cooking for friends and family.
