Jason Ngai is a physiotherapist at Cleveland Clinic Canada working with our multidisciplinary sports health team.
Mr. Ngai holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Health Science from York University and a Master of Physical Therapy from Western University. His strong academic background lays the foundation for a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to rehabilitation and performance.
Mr. Ngai’s clinical and professional experience includes work in outpatient orthopedic clinics, neurorehabilitation, and acute care settings. He has treated patients with musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative conditions, neurological impairments, and general medical concerns. Prior to becoming a licensed physiotherapist, he also worked as a personal trainer and strength coach, further enriching his understanding of movement and exercise prescription.
Mr. Ngai is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM), and holds additional certifications in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Emergency First Aid & CPR. He also has experience with advanced training in manual therapy and acupuncture. These qualifications enable him to provide safe, functional, and individualized care for a wide range of patients' needs.
When Mr. Ngai is not working, you will find him training for Hyrox, playing guitar, trying new foods, or going on road trips.
