Biography
Maliha Karawalli is a Registered Nurse with Cleveland Clinic Canada, supporting the Executive Health, Concierge, and Specialist Nursing teams. Ms. Karawalli has experience providing care across acute care, women’s health, postpartum, and outpatient mental health settings. She supports patients with a wide range of needs, including maternal and newborn care, IV therapy, patient education, and care coordination. She has a strong interest in women’s health, patient advocacy, and delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.
Ms. Karawalli obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science with a double major in Cell and Molecular Biology and Genetics, followed by the completion of her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toronto. After graduation, Ms. Karawalli began her nursing career working in labour and delivery at North York General Hospital. In this role, she provided comprehensive care to patients throughout labour, delivery, and recovery, including operative procedures and postpartum support. She has also gained experience in outpatient mental health through her work at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), where she supported patients transitioning from inpatient care to the community. Drawing on her diverse clinical background, Ms. Karawalli is dedicated to supporting positive patient outcomes through education, collaboration, and evidence-based care.
When she’s not caring for patients, Ms. Karawalli enjoys spending time with her family, especially with her son, going for nature walks, playing volleyball, and experimenting in the kitchen.
