Biography

Jeremy Spevick, MD, is a Neurologist at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Dr. Spevick helps to address and treat various disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system. His main areas of expertise are headache and stroke. 

Dr. Spevick obtained his Doctor of Medicine at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He went on to complete Residency in Neurology from the University of Toronto, followed by a Fellowship in Electroencephalography from Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He furthered his studies in the field of neurology with highly specialized training in interventional headache management through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. This includes advanced headache care treatments such as therapeutic nerve blocks, Botox and CGRP inhibitors.  

Dr. Spevick is dedicated to establishing a rapport with his patients and enjoys educating them about their medical issues and offering them a road map for treatment. These treatments can include various combinations of lifestyle adjustments and acute and preventative therapy. In his practice, he also helps to rule out secondary causes for headaches and recommends treatment plans for primary headaches such as migraine. 

Dr. Spevick has had his research published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, including The Journal of the American Medical Association and the American Medical Association’s online Journal of Ethics.

When he’s not treating patients, Dr. Spevick enjoys running, reading and spending time with his son.
