Haleigh Gibson is an Athletic Therapist and a Specialist on our Movement and Performance team at Cleveland Clinic Canada. She has clinical and field experience across various age groups and competitive levels.
Ms. Gibson earned her Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College in Brampton before specializing in Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise to support women at this critical stage in their fitness journey. Ms. Gibson is committed to ongoing professional development.
Thriving in a fast-past environment, Ms. Gibson has conducted thorough head-to-toe field assessments and necessary referrals for several teams. Working with other therapists, coaches, referees, and parents, she is passionate about injury-prevention education for young athletes. She has proven ability to perform thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and effectively communicate with patients and families.
Being a therapist on several teams has brought Ms. Gibson experience of working with elite athletes. She has worked with men’s volleyball, women’s rugby, Australia’s World Junior Lacross Championship team, and post-secondary powerlifting athletes. She most recently supported Canadian Cheer and continues to work with the Durham Dolphins Football Club.
When she’s not seeing patients, Ms. Gibson enjoys riding her motorcycle or dirt bike, hosting dinners for family and friends, or curling up with a good book.
