Biography

Jaclyn Pritchard is a Registered Dietitian with Cleveland Clinic Canada and leads the Weight and Lifestyle Management Program for patients wanting to achieve permanent weight loss. She has 18 years of experience as a nutrition counsellor and management in the clinic’s interdisciplinary weight management programs. Using her advanced skills and knowledge in cognitive behaviour change counselling and a variety of successful dietary approaches, Ms. Pritchard supports patients in their health and wellness journeys. She is registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and is an active member of Dietitians of Canada, and Obesity Matters.

Ms. Pritchard also works with corporate clients through Advisory Services to develop effective wellness programs for organizations, employers, and their teams. She provides thought leadership in the areas of behaviour change and creating a corporate culture of wellness. As the Lead of Wellness, Ms. Pritchard creates innovative wellness programs to support the Cleveland Clinic Canada caregivers and leaders. She is also a leadership coach with the Global Leadership and Learning Institute (GLLI), where she provides coaching to Cleveland Clinic leaders globally.

Born and raised in Burlington, Ontario, Ms. Pritchard completed a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Food and Nutrition at Ryerson University, followed by a comprehensive dietetic internship at Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation. Her expertise has been featured on the CBC’s The Fifth Estate, CBC News, Global National, CTV News, and in various printed media.

Ms. Pritchard’s personal interests include cooking, running, and spending time with her family.
