Biography
Miranda Cornacchia is a Nurse Practitioner at Cleveland Clinic Canada with more than a decade of experience providing primary and preventive care to patients of all ages.
Ms. Cornacchia completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Western Ontario, followed by a Master’s in Nursing at the University of Toronto. She went on to complete the Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program and further specialized in continence care, obtaining her Nurse Continence Advisor Certificate at McMaster University.
With clinical roles as a nurse practitioner in both in-person and virtual settings, Ms. Cornacchia has extensive experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic conditions. She is passionate about collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred and preventive care. At a variety of community healthcare clinics, she provided diagnoses and treatments in a primary care capacity. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Canada, Ms. Cornacchia provided virtual care supporting patients of all ages with accessible, compassionate care for their acute and chronic health needs.
In addition to her clinical practice, Ms. Cornacchia is an Associate Clinical Professor at McMaster University’s School of Nursing, where she teaches courses in continence care and advanced nursing practice to students from McMaster University, Mohawk College, and Conestoga College.
When she is not treating patients, Ms. Cornacchia enjoys time with her two children, gardening, yoga, traveling, and pottery.
