Biography

Elena Stoiko is a Registered Dietitian at Cleveland Clinic Canada who sees patients in the Executive Health Program. Ms. Stoiko has experience working in a wide variety of clinical areas, including long term care, outpatient diabetes education, food service management, sport nutrition, general medicine and outpatient oncology.  

Ms. Stoiko obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology before shifting her focus to the world of nutrition and completing a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Western Ontario. She went on to complete her dietetic internship at Aramark Canada, where she contributed to nutrition care plans and nutrition-related strategies for cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders and oncology in acute care and outpatient settings. 

Ms. Stoiko enjoys giving back to her community and has volunteered for numerous organizations, including St. Michael’s Hospital Risk Factor Modification Centre, where she assisted with a clinical trial for diabetes. She also volunteered her time at NutritionRx, assisting with diet analysis, and the Victorian Order of Nurses Canada, helping to prepare meals for clients.

When she’s not seeing patients, Ms. Stoiko enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, listening to podcasts and exploring the city.
