Dr. Rosamond Lougheed Simpson is a Sports Medicine Physician at Cleveland Clinic Canada.

Dr. Lougheed Simpson obtained her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto. She completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto, before going on to complete her Fellowship in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Lougheed Simpson is a strong believer in exercise as a form of medicine and enjoys working with her patients to help them reach their physical activity goals- recreationally, professionally or simply a return to daily function. Dr. Lougheed Simpson’s work has been published in countless scientific journals and publications, including Academic Emergency Medicine. Much of her research has focused on concussion management and traumatic brain injury management.

Passionate about the world of athletics, Dr. Lougheed Simpson has acted as a physician for many sports teams and events, including Western University’s women and men’s rugby teams, the London Lightning basketball team, Western University’s women’s ice hockey team, the Vancouver Paralympic Games and the London 2018 Ontario Summer Games.

When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Lougheed Simpson enjoys mountain bike racing and endurance running.
