Biography

Ghazala Hussein is a Nurse Practitioner at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Hussein has over a decade of experience providing primary and acute care to patients of all ages. Previously, she acted as a Registered Nurse in the hospital and emergency room setting. 

Ms. Hussein completed her training as a Registered Nurse at Centennial College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Ryerson University. She went on to complete her Masters in Advanced Practical Nursing at Athabasca University. 

Ms. Hussein has provided nursing care in a variety of clinical areas, including geriatric care, community health, occupational health, virtual care, urgent care, and COVID assessment and management. Always looking to learn the latest in her field, Ms. Hussein takes part in the McMaster Practice Based Solutions educational sessions each month, focusing on various diagnoses, treatments and practice updates. Previously, she held the role of Professor at Centennial College, where she taught in a variety of clinical settings within the hospital, long-term care and community setting.
