Biography
Dr. Madelaine Bell is a Registered Dermatologist.
Dr. Bell graduated with distinction from McGill University in Montreal with a Bachelor of Science and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto. She completed her Dermatology Residency at the University of Toronto with a focus on comprehensive skin health and patient-centred care.
As an active leader in medical education and residency advocacy, Dr. Bell served as Co-Chief Resident, Residency Program Committee Representative, and mentored many medical students. She also helped develop dermatology curricula, Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) stations, and educational modules that promote diversity and inclusion in dermatologic training.
Dr. Bell’s clinical and research interests include dermatologic diagnosis, skin of colour, medical education, and improving patient communication and outcomes. She has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as The Journal of Pediatrics and Archives of Dermatological Research, with work recognized at national and international dermatology conferences.
When she’s not with patients, Dr. Bell likes to spend time snowboarding, hiking and running. She is also passionate about music and performing arts.
