Biography

Cesar Cruz is a Registered Massage Therapist at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Mr. Cruz has a particular interest in sport massage, post-op recovery and athletic injuries. He commonly treats issues affecting the neck, shoulders, back and hips.

Mr. Cruz completed his Diploma in Massage Therapy at the Institute of Complementary & Alternative Therapies. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology as well as a Certificate in Athletic Therapy. This combination of disciplines allows him to take on a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. In his treatments, Mr. Cruz uses techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point release, muscle energy technique, counterstrain and Swedish massage.  

Mr. Cruz has worked with the athletes at the National Ballet of Canada and has volunteered his time with countless athletic events, including the Toronto Open Taekwondo Championships, Karate Canada Summit , Joe MacDonald Police Basketball Championship and the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon.

When he’s not seeing patients, Mr. Cruz enjoys indoor climbing, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
