Biography

Jennifer Post-Balfour is a Nurse Practitioner at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Mrs. Post-Balfour has over 20 years of nursing experience and has a particular passion for primary care, health policy and leadership.

Mrs. Post-Balfour first obtained her Diploma as a Registered Nurse from Durham College in Ontario. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University, before completing a Master of Nursing in Leadership in Health Care Policy and Education. She then relocated to Fort St. John, BC and remotely completed a Master of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner from the University of Victoria.

Mrs. Post-Balfour’s clinical focus is on primary care for all ages. She most commonly helps to treat addictions (specifically alcohol use disorder), workplace injuries, mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression, and chronic disease management. Mrs. Post-Balfour has dedicated much of her practice to assisting remote, marginalized populations such as First Nations people and homeless, street entrenched populations, focusing on primary care and social determinants of health.

When she’s not treating patients, Mrs. Post-Balfour enjoys being active outdoors, skiing, hiking and spending time with her family.
