Nazli Ghiasi

Biography

Nazli Ghiasi, MD, FRCPC, FAAD, is a Canadian and American board-certified dermatologist at Cleveland Clinic Canada who treats patients with general medical dermatology problems such as dermatitis, psoriasis, alopecia, skin cancers, warts and acne. She is skilled at performing surgical procedures for various medical as well as cosmetic issues.

Born in Tehran, Iran and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Ghiasi studied medicine at the University of Toronto before completing her residency at the university’s dermatology residency program. During her training, she was elected to serve as the chief resident in her senior years. She continues to be actively involved in medical education as a Dermatologist at Toronto Western Hospital and an appointed Lecturer with the University of Toronto. She further serves as a consultant Dermatologist for the University Health Network. Dr. Ghiasi is a member of numerous associations, including the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the Ontario Medical Association, Canadian Dermatology Association and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

When she’s not working, Dr. Ghiasi enjoys salsa dancing. She also likes to unwind by dining with family or friends and taking her dog for long walks.
