Biography

Breanna McCarthy-Hinds is a Registered Practical Nurse at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. McCarthy-Hinds has experience in a wide variety of fields, including hospital care, addiction and mental health, oncology, palliative care and family practice. She has a particular interest in oncology/palliative care, substance abuse treatment, and nursing foot care and wound management. 

Ms. McCarthy-Hinds first obtained a Diploma in Practical Nursing from Sheridan College in Toronto, before undertaking her Diploma in Medical Aesthetics from the Chellsey Institute in Mississauga. She has since completed additional certification in Gentle Persuasive Approaches, blood transfusions, phlebotomy and basic health assessments. 

Ms. McCarthy-Hinds takes pride in providing passionate and quality patient care by practicing collaboratively on a team as well as independently. She is committed to continuing education and learning the latest in her field so that she can deliver innovative, evidence-based interventions and care. 

When she’s not treating patients, Ms. McCarthy-Hinds enjoys listening to music, roller-skating and experimenting with skincare and cosmetics.
