Biography
Yuanshen Huang, MD, is a Dermatologist at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Dr. Huang is a dual board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon in both Canada and the USA with world class training in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Her main clinical interest is surgical and procedural dermatology.
Dr. Huang received her Doctor of Medicine at Peking University. She went on to complete her Residency in Dermatology, followed by a PhD in Oncology/Immunology from the University of British Colombia. Dr. Huang further specialized her training with a Fellowship in Dermatology from the University of British Colombia, a Residency in Dermatology at the University of Toronto, and a Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Huang is an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons, the Canadian Dermatology Association, the American Society for Dermatology Surgery, and the Canadian Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She has published numerous articles on skin cancers and other dermatologic topics in journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, and has been invited to speak at national and international conferences. She has been a recipient of numerous national and international accolades, including the prestigious Vanier Scholarship, the World Congress of Dermatology Rising Star Award, and the American Academy of Dermatology Everett C. Fox Award.
When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Huang enjoys drawing, hiking, and playing sports with her family and friends. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
