Biography

Doris Romano is a Registered Nurse and the Clinical Lead of the Executive Health and Concierge Medicine Programs at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Romano has over 20 years of clinical and pharmaceutical experience. She has a strong interest in integrative medicine, functional medicine and preventive medicine.

Ms. Romano completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Queen’s University in Kingston. During her time at Queen’s, Ms. Romano’s dedication to nursing was recognized with both the Alice J. Baumgart Outstanding Achievement Award and the Genna McLinden Memorial Award. She went on to pursue her Diploma as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Richmond Hill. Ms. Romano has since completed additional certification as an Autoimmune Wellness Certified Coach and as a Certified Asthma Educator through the Canadian Network for Respiratory Care.

Ms. Romano is dedicated to improving the quality of life for her patients and will advocate on their behalf. She believes in a preventive, patient-empowered healthcare system and is passionate about providing personalized care for her patients. Using a holistic, whole body approach, Ms. Romano takes into consideration all the factors that influence health, wellness and disease, including nourishment, sleep, movement, connection and mind.

When she’s not seeing patients, Ms. Romano enjoys yoga and strength training. She also likes to try new recipes and explore local coffee shops and restaurants.
