Biography
Dr. Jessica Asgarpour is a dermatologist at Cleveland Clinic Canada.
Board-certified in both Canada and the U.S., Dr. Asgarpour completed medical school at the Cumming School of Medicine, in Calgary, Alberta, where she was born and raised. She went on to the University of Alberta for her residency training in dermatology, where she acted as co-chief resident from 2019-2020, and was awarded the Dr. Andrew Lin Dermatology Scholar award.
Dr. Asgarpour has published in many peer-reviewed journals, and practices medicine with this same evidence-based approach. She practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with a special interest in hidradenitis suppurativa and deroofing surgeries, as well as acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin cancer, and women’s health. She is currently working at the Canadian Dermatology Centre and is also a clinical associate at Women’s College Hospital. She is a lecturer at the University of Toronto and is an active investigator for ongoing clinical trials in inflammatory diseases. She is a board member on the Canadian Hidradenitis Suppurativa foundation.
When she is not supporting patients, Dr. Asgarpour enjoys keeping active and loves Pilates, running, hiking, travelling, and spending quality time with friends and family.
