Andrew Markiton


Andrew Markiton, BScN, RN(EC), NP, is a nurse practitioner at Cleveland Clinic Canada. As a primary health care provider, Mr. Markiton is a member of our interdisciplinary team of physicians, and health and wellness professionals. Mr. Markiton collaboratively manages common acute and chronic health problems and provides treatments for episodic health issues for Executive Health patients in the urgent care program. In addition, Mr. Markiton is certified with Cardiac Care Level 1 and worked as a registered nurse in cardiology at St. Michael’s Hospital. Dedicated to the advancement of patient care, Mr. Markiton is a Clinical Preceptor for nurse practitioner students and he is a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario, Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, and Nurse Practitioners Association of Ontario.

Born and raised in Toronto, Mr. Markiton earned his Diploma of Nursing from George Brown College and his Diploma of Arts and Science from Fanshawe College before completing his Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing (post-RN) at Ryerson University. Building on a foundation of graduate nursing education, Mr. Markiton also completed advanced requirements at Ryerson University to earn a Certificate for Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner.

Andrew Markiton’s personal interests include playing hockey, running and spending time with his family.
