Ajmal Razmy, MD, is a Psychiatrist at Cleveland Clinic Canada. He commonly treats conditions such as mood and anxiety disorders.

Dr. Razmy has always been fascinated by the human brain. He pursued this passion by completing both his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Science in Neuroscience before going on to complete a Doctor of Medicine. He furthered his training with a specialty FRCPC certification in Psychiatry.

Dr. Razmy has a special interest in sleep and sleep disorders. He is dedicated to helping his patients overcome obstacles and enjoys establishing treatment plans that work best for their lifestyles. His research has been published in numerous medical journals, including the Journal of Mental Disorders and Treatment, Academic Psychiatry, and The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).

Recognized for his leadership qualities, Dr. Razmy currently acts as the Head of Service for the Mental Health Program at Joseph Brant Hospital. He is also a Psychiatrist Member for the Consent and Capacity Board of Ontario. 

When he’s not treating patients, Dr. Razmy enjoys cheering on Toronto sports teams- especially the Jays, Raptors and Leafs.
