Akron General is proud to partner with Cleveland Clinic – one of the largest and most comprehensive programs in the world for the evaluation, medical and surgical treatment of epilepsy – to provide an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit right here in our community. Akron General now has an outpatient clinic as well as a four-bed monitoring unit allowing epilepsy specialists to diagnose a seizure problem accurately and design the best possible treatment plan.
