Overview
Our Sports Performance team creates a training plan to meet your personal, fitness or athletic goals through strength and conditioning training.
Our strength and conditioning coaches are degreed and certified to work with adults and athletes – no matter your age, sport or fitness level. Coaching is provided in a small group setting with no more than participants six per session. Coach and class camaraderie inspire a positive and progressive environment.
We offer three unique performance training programs designed for:
- Athletic sports performance.
- Adult strength and conditioning.
- Return to sport.
Regardless of your current training experience, our programs are designed for anyone looking to improve their athletic performance or to improve their overall strength and physical condition.

Services
Athlete Sports Performance
For high school and middle school athletes.
In this program, we build dominant, injury-resilient athletes.
- Our athletes train in 75-minute custom workouts crafted to maximize athletic performance and reinforce optimal biomechanics so that they enter competition with the competitive edge in all aspects.
- Through a combination of sport-based movement training and expertly supervised weightlifting, athletes will improve speed, agility, power and strength in preparation for any sport.
- Athletes of all levels – from beginners to varsity – will benefit from this program.
Annual speed and agility camps to benefit performance and fine-tune movement mechanics are hosted for athletes of all ages.
Adult Strength and Conditioning
For adults 18 years and older.
Our adult strength and conditioning sessions use a comprehensive fitness model to increase muscle mass, shed body fat and age-proof your body.
- We help adults of any age increase overall fitness by blending training techniques to boost metabolism and enhance strength, power, mobility, endurance, flexibility and balance.
- Each training session is fast-paced, targeting the full body to keep you mentally and physically engaged with support from your peers and coach.
Return to Sport
For athletes who have completed formal physical therapy for a sport-related injury.
Return to Sport is a comprehensive, challenging, professionally supervised training plan.
- A personalized plan prepares the athlete for a successful return to their sport or active lifestyle.
- Each participant receives a unique training program.
- The program is coordinated with your physical therapy team – according to specific injury and fitness level – focusing on functional strength, mobility, dynamic stability, power, endurance and sport-specific agility. Recovering athletes at any level, competitive and recreational, are eligible to participate.

Our Team
Meet our Coaches
Mary Catherine McKee, BS, MA CSCS SCCC TPI Level 1 Mary Catherine (MC) has a passion for coaching and teaching athletes of all ages to help them succeed at the highest level. With previous experience as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach, she knows what it takes to train at the next level. MC earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of Mount Union and holds a Master’s degree in Sports and Recreation Management from Kent State University. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). |

Nick Hoy, BS, CSCS, NSCA-CPT Nick has a passion for helping athletes of all ages grasp a better understanding of body mechanics, push their limits and reach their full potential. With experience as both a coach and a collegiate athlete, Nick has developed an appreciation for the fundamentals of training. Nick earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Akron. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. |

Kyle Maxwell, BS, CSCS With a passion for coaching and passing on knowledge, Kyle strives to help each athlete achieve their personal goals. Kyle earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Kent State University and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). With his previous coaching high school football, Kyle works with athletes to build their athletic tool box in order to reach their maximum potential. |

Jacob Shipley BS, CSCS Jacob is a Navy veteran who places a strong emphasis on discipline and proper form in his approach to sports performance. He draws on his military experience and personal dedication to fitness to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their goals. With a focus on functional movement and healthy living, Jacob’s goal is to help clients enhance their athleticism and overall quality of life. He prioritizes longevity by developing sustainable and effective fitness plans tailored to each client’s unique goals and lifestyles. Jacob is dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellbeing for a fulfilling life through fitness. |
