This 23-bed inpatient unit was built in memory of Harry R. Horvitz, a lifelong resident of Cleveland recognized by his friends and associates as a man of integrity and compassion.The Harry R. Horvitz Center includes:

- 5 semi-private patient rooms
- Consultation room
- Patient bathing room
- Family lounge
- Glass-enclosed conference/seminar room
- Family dining room
- Glass-enclosed staff lounges and offices to allow easy access to staff members
- Donor recognition area
Cancer Research and Education
Thanks in part to generous financial contributions, the Harry R. Horvitz Center for Palliative Medicine conducts important cancer research and educational efforts in pain management, cancer symptom control, nutrition and home care. Advances made at Cleveland Clinic through cancer research have minimized unwanted side effects of cancer treatment, improved nutrition and enhanced quality of life for patients with advanced disease.
