Rehabilitation in MS

People with multiple sclerosis often develop physical symptoms that limit daily activities and decrease quality of life. Physical therapy can help alleviate those symptoms and restore functioning to increase the quality of life.¹ The Mellen Center strives to identify patients who would benefit from physical therapy and ensure they receive it.

Physical Therapy Intervention for Patients

Total number of patients with documented moderate disability (PDDS≥3), and number of those with consults to physical therapy and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
