How To Order

Cleveland Clinic’s foodservice team offers multiple ways to order meals, giving you personalized service that aims to create the best possible dining experience. We offer a variety of fresh daily features you can choose from the room service menu while you’re staying in the hospital.

On a special diet as part of your care plan? We have you covered. We use your provider’s request to personalize meals to make sure you’re getting the right types and amounts of food and drinks during your stay.

Each hospital does things a little differently, so be sure to visit the Main Campus, Ohio Regional Hospitals or Florida Regional Hospitals tabs on this page. You’ll find more location-specific information, including menus, meal delivery windows and ordering instructions.

If you’re staying in one of our Ohio or Florida hospitals, you can easily order your meals from your mobile phone, tablet or laptop.

This easy, convenient app allows you, or family or friends, to place your meal orders using a mobile or desktop device.

Do I have to order via the patient app?

No. You can place your order by phone or bedside. (See your menu for your site’- specific instructions.) You can also visit patient.cbord.com using your device.

How do I create an account after downloading the app?

  1. Enter your MRN (see below) and click on Create an Account.
  2. Select the appropriate user box and check the box if you’re age 13 or older.
  3. Enter your unique facility ID (see below).
  4. Enter your date of birth or scan your wristband.
  5. Enter your email to create an account or select skip in the upper right corner.
  6. Select the day and meal you’d like to order. Add your selections to your order and submit.

What is my MRN and facility ID?

The MRN is your personal medical record number. You can find it on your wristband.

Your facility ID refers to the hospital where you’re staying. Facility IDs are case sensitive.

How do I reset my password?

  • In the patient app: Click the blue “forgot password” hyperlink under “patient field.” Enter your email and submit.
  • Using the web version: Go to cbord.com/login; click “forgot password” and enter your username or email address.

With either method, you’ll receive an email message with instructions for resetting your password

Can I use the app if I’m on a special diet?

The patient app has built-in tracking that will only allow you to order within your diet restrictions. When you are ordered a special diet, you will see the corresponding nutrients tracked in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

Red means you’ve exceeded the recommended amount, while green indicates you’re within the guidelines. You must be in the green to place an order within the app.

Below you will find our menus, meal hours and how to order. Once you’ve placed your meal order using our patient app, bedside services or by phone, you can expect it to arrive based on whether your unit offers room service or a set delivery time.

  • Room service: Delivery within 45 minutes or at your preferred time
  • Other units: Delivery during the unit’s specified hours

For ones with room service, you’ll receive your meal within 45 minutes of your order or at your requested time. For other units, you’ll get your order within an assigned delivery window.
