Non-English Speaking Individuals
If you feel more comfortable speaking a language other than English, we will provide language interpreters at no charge. This service is provided to patients and their companions at all Cleveland Clinic locations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Both over-the-phone interpreter services and on-site interpreters are accessible.
Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Individuals
Deaf patients and/or their companions who use American Sign Language (ASL) are provided Sign Language interpreters at no charge. On-site interpreters are available for scheduled appointments at all locations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) is also offered at all Cleveland Clinic hospitals and most Family Health Centers. This technology provides quick access to remote ASL interpreters.
