Spiritual Care

Spiritual Care is here to provide spiritual and emotional guidance for you and your loved ones during health challenges. Our clinically trained chaplains, holistic nurses and family liaisons offer compassionate care, counsel and comfort that honor and respect your beliefs while supporting your well-being.

What Chaplains Do

Our chaplains are clinically trained spiritual care providers. They’re available to support you and your loved ones 24/7, regardless of your faith or whether you identify with a religion. Along with our holistic nurses and family liaisons, they offer compassionate, confidential care through prayer, meditation and spiritual readings. They also provide healing therapies, such as relaxation techniques, aromatherapy, yoga and guided imagery.

Chaplains can help if you’re experiencing:

  • Sadness, loneliness or grief
  • Anxiety or stress
  • Family conflict
  • Difficulty facing your condition
  • Changes in identity or purpose
  • Trouble balancing hope and reality

If you’d like a visit from a religious representative or your own pastor, priest, rabbi or imam, please contact us. Requests for faith leaders not represented on our team are handled carefully and in accordance with HIPAA privacy rules.

Need help right away? Our chaplains can provide immediate support for emotional and spiritual challenges.

Places of Worship at Main Campus

Take a moment to meditate, pray or reflect in one of our chapels or prayer rooms. If you’re a patient, loved one or visitor at our Main Campus, these peaceful spaces are here to support you and your spiritual well-being:

  • Family Chapel: Glickman Tower (Q Bldg.), first floor
  • Jewish Chapel: H Bldg., First Floor (H1-270A) behind Starbucks
  • Muslim Prayer Room: Glickman Tower (Q Bldg.), first floor, across from chapel

Service schedule

Catholic masses are available at noon on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in our Meditation Chapel (Q1-102).

Communal Muslim prayer is held Fridays at 1:30 p.m. in the Muslim Prayer Room across from the Meditation Chapel.

If you’d like information about services for specific religious holidays or want to learn about local places of worship and religious communities, please reach out to our Spiritual Care team at 216.444.2518.

Prayer requests

You’re invited to share your prayer requests in the binder located in the Chapel on the first floor of Glickman Tower, near the Q elevators. A chaplain will include these requests in daily prayers, offering support and care for you and your loved ones.
