Massage therapy can benefit your muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Research shows that massage therapy can reduce pain, decrease stress and enhance immune function. At Cleveland Clinic Canada, we offer a variety of massage techniques that can be used to address and treat disorders of the body, promote healing, and reach higher levels of health and wellness. We have an extensive list of massage therapy services, from Swedish massage, trigger point release to lymph drainage, designed to address concerns from simple issues to chronic conditions, including but not limited to the following:

Ideal for

Canadians who use massage therapy as part of their regular wellness maintenance plan, to treat specific injuries or conditions or those simply looking to unwind after a hard day at the office. Some people with pre-existing medical conditions may not benefit from massage therapy – such as those taking blood-thinning medication or those who are vulnerable to bone fractures – so it’s a good idea to discuss any health concerns with your therapist and physician before treatment.

Massage therapy services provided by a Registered Massage Therapist are not covered by provincial health plans, though may be partially or fully covered by extended health insurance plans. Our Registered Massage Therapist encourages you to become an active participant in your wellness or recovery plan. We also work closely with you to improve your ability to move as you recover from illness, disease, injury or long periods of inactivity.

Depending on your needs, treatment techniques may include:
