Pituitary tumors are responsible for a majority of hormone abnormalities involving the pituitary glands. In autopsy studies of patients who did not have known pituitary disease, up to 20% had small tumors in their pituitary glands.

This multidisciplinary team treats patients with disorders affecting the pituitary gland and parasellar region, including secretory and non-secretory pituitary brain tumors, craniopharyngiomas, and other parasellar tumors, hypopituitarism, and inflammatory diseases of the neuro-endocrine system.
