Following PRK to treat all levels of myopia, 86% of eyes achieved uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) of 20/20 or better, and 94% achieved 20/25 or better. An exceptional visual result of 20/16 or better was achieved in 51%. Compared with LASIK, visual acuity measurements obtained at 3 months with PRK (as they were above) tend to underestimate final outcomes for these patients who often see continued improvement between 3 and 6 months.
