We welcome international participants who wish to engage in one-on-one clinical and surgical observations, shadow staff involved in departmental administrative functions, and discover best practices and operational strengths of Cleveland Clinic.
Observational opportunities within the Cancer Institute include:
Radiation Oncology
Participants will be introduced to outpatient clinical practices, including the day-to-day practices of radiation oncology physicians who specialize in particular disease sites. Participants will observe the development and decision-making process of treatment plans and disease site management, and observe procedures including IORT, HDR/LDR brachytherapy, Gamma Knife, stereotactic radiosurgery and SBRT. Participants also will have the opportunity to attend institute and departmental educational conferences.
