"Our experiences with the nursing care at Cleveland Clinic have been wonderful, and we are so grateful! 'Patient Care' to them means the whole patient - physically, emotionally and spiritually. We're proud to support the nursing programs at Cleveland Clinic." - Kathryn and Dennis Easterday
If you’ve ever been a patient in a hospital, you know who has the greatest impact on your care.
The nurses ensure you receive the proper doses, oversee your recovery, see to your comfort, and usually are the first to respond should anything go wrong. While doctors and researchers at Cleveland Clinic search for treatments and cures for the most devastating illnesses, we never lose sight of the work that goes on at the bedside. Because to Cleveland Clinic and our nurses, patients always come first.
Our Stanley Shalom Zielony Institute for Nursing Excellence is at the forefront of nursing research, ensuring that the quality of care is enhanced by the increased efficiency healthcare reform demands, not imperiled by it. Our onsite interdisciplinary simulation lab allows nurses to practice giving care in a range of critical situations. Our advanced technology ensures that nurses are well versed in the very latest techniques and equipment. The training regimen practiced and developed here is absolutely essential, not only for the 11,000 nurses at Cleveland Clinic, but for the future of health care. Which is why we need your help.
Stanley Shalom Zielony Institute for Nursing Excellence is among the finest of its kind in the country. But we must rely on support from friends like you to keep up with the new demands that healthcare reform will make on America’s nurses.
Join the Easterdays and honor a special nurse who has touched your life by making a donation today and we will put it to the best possible use to ensure that there will continue to be trained and caring nurses ready when you need them.
