Lutheran Hospital Charges

In compliance with state law, Cleveland Clinic provides price lists for each of our hospitals containing charges for room and board, emergency department, operating room, delivery, physical therapy and other procedures, as well as a comprehensive list of all charges that may be incurred, also known as a chargemaster or CDM. The hospital’s charges are the same for all patients, but a patient’s responsibility may vary depending on payment plans negotiated with individual health insurers.

Financial Assistance

Cleveland Clinic Health System's policy is to provide Emergency Care and Medically Necessary Care on a non-profit basis to patients without regard to race, creed, or ability to pay. Patients who do not have the means to pay for services provided at our facilities may request financial assistance, which will be awarded subject to these terms and conditions. The eligibility criteria for financial assistance are intended to ensure that our facilities will have the financial resources to provide care to patients who are in the greatest financial need.

Medicaid and Social Services Support

Lutheran Hospital partners with MedAssist to assist patients through the process of applying for Medicaid and directing patients to other social services agencies. Visit MedAssist for additional information.
