Does insurance cover these appointments?
Most health insurance plans cover visits with our dietitians, also called medical nutrition therapy (MNT). Some plans may offer limited coverage, and a few may not cover these appointments at all.
Before you schedule, check with your insurance provider to see if MNT is covered under diagnostic codes 97802 or 97803. If your dietitian visits aren’t covered, our patient financial advocates are here to help. Call 216.442.1600 to learn about costs and payment options.
