Avon Hospital Volunteers are an important part of our healthcare team. They provide the personal touches that patients and their families need, appreciate and remember. Hospital volunteers are here to help make a patient's stay as comfortable as possible. Volunteers work in several departments within the hospital bringing their talents to all that they meet.

Adult Volunteer

Adult Volunteer

As an Adult Avon volunteer (ages 18 and older), you’ll give more to the hospital than we could ever give back.

To show you just how grateful we are, we offer a few small tokens of appreciation:

  • Meals and parking.
On the days you come to work, we’ll provide a guest meal for you in our cafeteria. Free parking is available in the lot next to the building's employee entrance.
  • Volunteer Recognition.
Once a year, we invite our volunteers to a very special luncheon or dinner. It’s our way of saying “thank you” for your dedicated service. You’ll enjoy a wonderful meal and lots of praise for work well done. You will receive an hour recognition pin when you’ve accumulated 100 volunteer hours, 500 volunteer hours and for each additional 1,000 hours thereafter.

If you have any questions about becoming an Adult Volunteer, please call the volunteer office at 440.695.5167.
