Why choose us for dental and oral surgery?

  • Integration with your medical care: Oral health is an important part of your overall health. Maximize both by getting your dental care from an integrated group of well-trained dentists and board-certified specialists who are able to work seamlessly with your other health care providers. We have access to your electronic medical record and can easily correspond with your doctors.
  • Comfort seeing patients with complex medical problems: We see patients who are anticipating having or have had certain medical treatments including radiation to the head/neck region, organ transplant, cardiac surgical procedures, and institution of bisphosphonate therapy.
  • Team approach: The true secret to our success is how we work together as a team. One need only walk down the hall for a consultation with another dental provider rather than travelling to another office across the city or state.

Who can we treat?

Our general dentists provide routine dental care to Cleveland Clinic employees and family members 13 years of age and older. Our hygienists provide dental cleanings for any patient referred by a Cleveland Clinic dentist or specialist. Our specialists (oral surgeons and periodontist) provide specialty care to any interested individual (employee or not).

Please note: Patients from the community at large may seek care in the dentistry department for dental treatment of sleep apnea and TMJ disorders. We provide dental care for adult patients with special needs.

Why seek oral care at the Cleveland Clinic?

Cleveland Clinic is recognized in the U.S. and throughout the world for its expertise and care. This recognition speaks to the quality of our care and our exceptional patient outcomes.

Cleveland Clinic Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is committed to providing the highest quality care to patients. Over the past several years, we have begun to assess outcomes data as measures of quality.

Virtual Visits

You can now stay connected to your healthcare team through virtual visits, using your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Why go virtual? It's an easy, convenient and secure way to see your provider face-to-face without having to leave home. This saves you travel time, parking fees and time spent in the waiting room — and you can also have a loved one or caregiver join you. If appropriate, you can also get a prescription sent to the pharmacy of your choice.

Many insurance companies cover the cost of virtual visits, so check with your insurance company ahead of time. Interested in getting started? Call your provider to find out what virtual visit options are available.
