Kathy Barringer is a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 19 years’ experience in working with traumatized children, adolescents and families. Kathy graduated from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, earning a masters of science degree in counseling, with an undergraduate degree in psychology. Kathy has held a variety of positions over her career including juvenile corrections team leader, staff trainer for foster-care services in Kansas, department of corrections for young men, and faculty at several wellness facilities.
Ms. Barringer has experience teaching heart-centered hypnotherapy in private and group settings across the US. Kathy has a passion to help clients with advanced trauma resolution, addictions, narrative therapy, mind/body, heart-centered hypnotherapy, and emotional dysregulations.
Kellie is a Licensed Clinical counselor with more than 25 years of experience counseling and teaching both nationally and internationally. A long time advocate of healing through creative avenues, she is a Holistic Psychotherapist with the Center for Integrative Medicine.
Maura Lipinskiis a licensed clinical social worker and clinical hypnotherapist who holds an MSSA degree from Case Western University, an MA degree in Education from Duquesne University and a BA degree in Communication and Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. Maura has held various clinical and administrative positions throughout her career, with an emphasis on individualized care that builds upon the strengths of each patient. A special interest in projects and research in the field of equine therapy has led to her to a deeper belief in the healing aspects of nature in treatment and recovery.
The combination of holistic wellness with educational and evidence-based practices provides the opportunity for individuals to define the types of treatment that can be most beneficial and supportive of their needs. The practice of Hypnotherapy through the Center for Integrative Medicine, allows Maura to blend her lifelong interests related to energy work, meditation, breath therapy, and experiential education to support healing.
Trisha is a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 10 years experience . Trisha has held a variety of positions over her career including supervisor of multiple community based programs focusing on delivering optimal care to clients from a strength perspective. Trisha is a certified hypnotherapist with advanced training. Trisha has a passion in helping clients transform and heal themselves by incorporating both evidence based and creative, holistic and energetic interventions to integrate mind, body and spirit.
Tom received his Master of Science in Social Administration Degree from Case Western Reserve University and his undergraduate degree is in psychology from the University of Akron. He is licensed by the State of Ohio to practice psychotherapy. Tom has completed post–graduate work at the Cognitive Therapy Institute in Ohio.
Tom guides individuals in exploring their inner potential to heal themselves of emotional distress such as depression and anxiety. He also helps individuals resolve trauma issues that contribute to unhealthy, undesirable, repetitive behaviors, compulsivity and addictions.
Kate is a licensed clinical social worker, ODE licensed school social worker, and clinical hypnotherapist. Her education includes a Masters of Science in Social Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University and thirty post-graduate hours in various therapeutic modalities. Kate is certified as a Heart Centered Hypnotherapist by the Wellness Institute/ Seattle, Washington and the National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists. She also holds certification as a Child Light Yoga instructor. Kate has studied Reiki with International Reiki Institute Senior Teacher, Carolyn Musial, and Integration Process Breath Therapy with founder Carol Lampman.
The Center for Integrative Medicine allows Kate to continue to expand her 20 year career focus to implement evidence based interventions for children and families struggling with challenging issues affecting their physical and mental health. She utilizes these interventions to support clients to identify, manifest and sustain their own healing. She is committed to offering her clients’ transformational healing grounded in mind, body, spirit practices intertwined with traditional therapeutic interventions.
Jillian Williams is a licensed social worker and an advanced clinical hypnotherapist. Her education includes a Masters of Social Work from Cleveland State University, a Juris Doctorate from Cleveland Marshall College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from Otterbein University.
Jillian is certified as an Advanced Heart Centered Hypnotherapist by the Wellness Institute, Seattle. She has also completed training in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy for children. Jillian has years of experience working with trauma survivors, specifically survivors of domestic violence.
Jillian is dedicated to helping her patients reach their deepest possible emotional healing and Cleveland Clinic Center for Integrative and Lifestyle Medicine allows Jillian to combine evidence based interventions with the principles of holistic wellness thereby allowing her patients to successfully integrate spirit, mind and body.
