Patients had a baseline diastolic blood pressure (BP) of 90 mm HG or higher or a systolic BP of 140 mm HG or higher at baseline. Baseline is defined as the patient's first visit. Follow-up data are from the most recent visit. Patients included in these data had at least 2 follow-up visits in the past 2 years.
