What To Know About Insurance and Billing

Cleveland Clinic accepts many insurance plans at all our locations. Learn more about accepted plans, coverage information and FAQs.

Genetic services

Many insurance plans help cover genetic counseling and visits with medical geneticists. Coverages can vary based on your plan and the reason for your visit.

If you have questions about your benefits, a Cleveland Clinic patient financial advocate can help. Call 216.442.1600 or 855.831.1284. If you receive a high-cost estimate for your visit, please reach out to our office at 216.636.1768. We’ll talk through your options and help you understand what to expect.

Genetic testing

During your genetic consultation, our team will review your personal and family history and explore whether genetic testing could be helpful. We bill genetic testing separately from the office visit. Costs can vary, but our genetic counselors will work with you, your insurance company and the laboratory to help make testing as manageable as possible.
