Preceptees will have opportunities to gain insight on managing obesity from Cleveland Clinic providers through experiences such as the (soon to be completed) teaching kitchen, smart gym, Obesity Center monthly meetings, Cleveland Citywide Obesity Grand Rounds, ObesityLive Meetings, Journal Clubs, one on one didactic presentations, endoscopic and surgical experiences, and clinic observerships.
This preceptorship is designed to provide cutting-edge knowledge on the management of obesity, and to train a global pool of leaders in obesity medicine who can deliver expert obesity care. Participants will have a rigorous clinical and didactic experience, designed to provide a foundation in the emerging discipline of obesity medicine.
