Neonatal Nursing Conference


This year's conference will:

  • Highlight various methods used to enhance the quality of care of a unique population.
  • Look at the evolution of treatment strategies in the areas of respiratory care, feeding protocols and management and genitourinary complications.
  • Include discussion of innovative tools and techniques designed to improve neuromuscular development through proper positioning as well as focusing on improving achievement of development milestones through nursing assessment.
  • The second portion of the day's topics will include discussions on the importance of effective communication that creates meaningful relationships while remaining professional.
  • The day will conclude with discussion on today's healthcare and how the passage of the Affordable Care Act affects the execution of quality neonatal nursing care.
