Physician Faculty

Each of our faculty brings special strengths and a determination to enrich your residency experience. Our experienced faculty emphasizes the joy and excitement of learning and the acquisition of the skills to be life-long learners. We value teamwork in an atmosphere of support and respect for each other.

• We have six full-time Cleveland Clinic physicians and one part-time Cleveland Clinic physician, all appointed with Case Western Reserve University and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Two of our faculty have research fellowships.
• One of our faculty has OB privileges.
• We also have a full-time behavioral science coordinator and two family nurse practitioners, as well as a part-time patient education coordinator.
• One full-time outpatient primary care pharmacist.

• Why I Chose Cleveland Clinic: I began my residency training at a family medicine program in northwest Georgia, but my wife, who is one year behind me in training, matched into an orthopedic surgery program in Akron. After finding a PGY2 opening at CCF, Dr. Snyder, the entire faculty, staff, and all of the residents were so welcoming and encouraging that I truly feel part of the CCF Lakewood family as if I had been here from day one!

• Why I Chose Cleveland Clinic: As a medical student in the TCC program I was drawn to the welcoming environment and incredible faculty at CCF Lakewood. This program is so innovative and pushes you to be the best family physician, through improving general skills and knowledge, viewing patients holistically, and giving us ample autonomy to manage our own panel of patients from early on.

At CC Lakewood I am able to practice in the emergency, outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as work on population management and the many other aspects of family medicine.

The Cleveland Clinic has a tradition of excellence, so I knew that I would be receiving an outstanding education to prepare me for a career in full-spectrum family medicine, including my values and emphasis on holistic care with training in osteopathic medicine.
