The patient representative is here to be your advocate – to communicate your questions or concerns and to help you get prompt answers and solutions.

If you have any concerns about patient care or safety, please contact our Patient Care Ombudsman Department at the number listed above, or extension 46711 from any medical center telephone. You can also share your concerns through our Quality/Safety Hotline by calling 81628 from any medical center telephone, or 330.344.7901 from outside Akron General. If your issue cannot be resolved by Akron General, you can contact Joint Commission toll-free at 800.994.6610, or online at www.jointcommission.org, or the Ohio Department of Health toll-free at 800.669.3534.
