Biography
Brittany grew up in the Cleveland area and began attending yoga classes in college. She discovered the gift of stress relief through yoga helping in her own challenges. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in psychology and Master's in counseling. Her background is in adolescent DBT and CBT groups and has been with the Cleveland Clinic since 2012. Since she was a child, she always enjoyed helping others in need and strives to continue adding to her skill set. Yoga simply inspired another avenue to do more. In May 2018 she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Cleveland Clinic School of Yoga.
She believes the mind/body connection is a powerful combo. Through mindfulness (staying in the present moment) yoga and the breath bring greater awareness to current limitations and needs. This begins with letting go of past and future stress and practicing intentional self-care. Yoga has always helped her adapt to change, balance emotions and acknowledge how precious each moment is. Brittany's purpose is to empower caregivers and patients by meeting them where they are. Finding ways to experience peace and positive well-being. Every class is carefully thought out, offering education and IS nonjudgmental. Whether in a chair, on a mat or during a quick lunch break standing, come as you are shining your light. Life is meant to be enjoyed and full of light. Namaste.
